Antiochian Mission Trips

Someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.”

Show me your faith without your works,

and I will show you my faith by my works.

James 2:18

The Dept. of Missions & Evangelism is scouting locations. Our goal in these trips is to provide an opportunity for service and training on how to be a catalyst for change in our communities.

2021 Antiochian Village Gap Year

What does the Antiochian Village mean to us? Some have called it the place that changed their live. Others refer to it as Holy Ground and a priest factory. It is this and more! You are cordially invited to a Gap Year Program! Under the supervision of Fr. Chris Shadid, Camp Director of the Antiochian Village, interns will learn about servant leadership, hospitality, event planning, and non-profit management.

This mission trip is a combination of service and training.

Registration is not open yet for our mission trips of 2021.

Here are the details.

  • We only have space for 12 interns.

  • Interns will be living at the Antiochian Village Camp.

  • Once a week, interns will work at the Neighborhood Resilience Project.

  • Interns will learn how to become a catalyst for change in their own communities.

  • Calendar

    • The fall semester will begin on September 7th and end on December 17th.

    • A one week vacation will take place during the week of Thanksgiving.

    • The spring semester will begin on January 4th, 2022 and end on May 4th, 2022.

  • Cost: The internship will cost $800 per month for food, lodging, plus Catalyst training.

  • If you need financial assistance, we have two fundraising ideas.

    • First, you can open a gofundme account and spread the word with your friends, family, and coworkers.

    • Second, you can order "Sacred Meals" at a special discounted rate and sell them in your parish and at local churches to fundraise the amount needed.

    • If you have any questions, please contact us.

  • Please contact Dn. Adam Roberts at adamr@antiochian.org if you have specific questions.
